Poul Kjærholm was a Danish designer and trained cabinetmaker educated at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. Known for his refined approach to materials, he brought a sculptural elegance to steel, treating it with the same artistic respect traditionally given to wood. His timeless furniture designs, created between 1951 and 1967, remain part of the celebrated Kjærholm Collection, produced today by Fritz Hansen for architects, collectors and design lovers worldwide.
