02 / The family resemblance

Same spirit.
A lighter stance.

Quilton keeps its upholstered form close to the floor. Quilton Lift reveals timber legs beneath it, opening up the space below. Choose oak, walnut or black oak to change the character of the room.

A different base. The same seat height.Both fixed sofa versions have a 41 cm seat height and 77 cm seat depth. Lift changes the visual impression, rather than giving you a higher seat.

The fabric

A quiet neutral lets the quilting do the talking. A saturated colour turns the whole sofa into a statement. On a form this generous, texture matters just as much as shade.

04 / Make space for it

Measure the room.
Picture the everyday.

Quilton is deliberately deep. Think about the space you sit in, the space you walk through and the route it takes into your home.

  1. Mark out the whole footprint.

    Use masking tape for the sofa’s full width and deepest point. Add your coffee table, then walk the routes you use every day.

  2. Check the way you like to sit.

    The fixed sofas have a 77 cm seat depth. If you prefer a more upright position, consider how a back cushion would work for you and try the sofa where possible.

  3. Follow the delivery route.

    Measure doorways, turns, stairs and lifts. Modular pieces travel separately, but each still needs to fit. Ask us to confirm packed dimensions before ordering.

The full buying guide
Is every Quilton sofa modular?
No. The Quilton two- and three-seaters are fixed, free-standing sofas. The modular range uses individual modules joined by connectors. If you want a chaise, corner or open-ended arrangement, start with a modular combination and confirm the plan with us.
What is the difference between Quilton and Quilton Lift?
Lift has visible timber legs and a more open appearance beneath the sofa. The fixed two- and three-seater versions share the same overall widths, 109 cm depth, 72 cm height and 41 cm seat height as the original Quilton fixed sofas. Choose the base you prefer, then select your upholstery.
Can I see a fabric sample before deciding?
Ask us about samples for the fabrics on your shortlist. Check them in your room in daylight and evening light. Screen images are a useful starting point, but colour and texture are best judged in person.
How do I choose left or right?
Use the configuration drawing for the exact product, rather than the lifestyle photograph alone. Check the position of the arms, open end and chaise against your room plan. If you are unsure, send us your sketch before placing the order.
How long will my Quilton take to arrive?
Check the current estimated production time on your chosen product page. Production and onward delivery are separate stages, and timings can vary by specification. If you have a particular date in mind, ask us to check before you order.
What should I confirm before ordering?
Your exact sofa or combination, upholstery name and colour code, orientation, leg finish where relevant, and delivery access. Read our made-to-order information and returns and cancellation policy before placing your order.
