Designed by Andreas Bergsaker, the HAY Chisel Lounge Chair - Sheepskin brings together the warmth of wood and the soft luxury of natural hide. Named for its chisel-inspired angled legs - a nod to the classic woodworking tool - this chair is both sculptural and functional. The moulded plywood seat and back cradle the body comfortably, while the plush sheepskin upholstery adds a tactile, cozy finish ideal for relaxing spaces. The compact footprint makes it suitable for a variety of interiors - from living rooms to intimate reading nooks - yet the design feels substantial thanks to its solid wood frame and refined craftsmanship. Designer: Andreas Bergsaker

Andreas Bergsaker (b. 1990) is a Norwegian product designer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated with a master degree in Product Design from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA) in 2015. His work covers different everyday objects, designed for product longevity and generations to come. His designs are rooted in exploration of material and shape, and referencing cultural heritage with emphasis on traditional craftsmanship, industrial production processes and tactile qualities. His work has led to exhibitions in London, Milan, New York, Oslo and Stockholm.
