TAF Studio’s Muuto Ambit Pendant Lamp combines a hand-spun aluminium shade with a white interior. The contrast emphasises the pendant’s curved outline while directing light downwards.

The four diameters have different bulb fittings: the 16.5 cm version includes a GX53 bulb; the larger sizes require a separately purchased bulb. All sizes include a white ceiling cap and 4 m cord.

Muuto means ‘new perspective’ in Finnish. Rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition of enduring aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship and an honest expression. This is present across the entire Muuto collection comprising of furniture, lighting and accessories.

TAF Studio is a Stockholm-based design and architecture practice founded by Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom. Their work looks for subtle ways to make everyday objects feel less ordinary, often refining familiar forms through proportion, material and construction. For Muuto, the studio has created a broad body of work including the Ambit and Rime lighting families and the Midst table collection.
