About Skagerak

Skagerak refers to our northern location and to the strait ‘Skagerrak’ that connects Denmark to its Nordic neighbours – a strait that has been crucial in developing the region. Skagerak is now 'Skagerak by Fritz Hansen'. Fritz Hansen stands behind Skagerak to bring the best of Danish design to every part of life, indoors and outdoors. Sustainability runs deep in the company – in materials, production and the way they treat partners and employees, they have been a B Corp since 2017 and FSCTM-certified since 2003.
