The HAY story

A Danish outlook. An open mind.

Founded in 2002 by Mette and Rolf Hay, HAY brings together designers from around the world. Its furniture, lighting and accessories take inspiration from art, architecture and fashion, with everyday life as the starting point.

At kin., we like the way the pieces work together: a generous sofa beside a graphic table, a colourful cabinet against a quiet wall, a small lamp that changes the mood. Start with what your room needs, then make it your own.

A little more about HAY

Where should I start with HAY?

Start with the part of your room you want to change. Browse sofas, dining chairs, lounge chairs, lighting, storage or tables above, then explore the individual product page for dimensions, finishes and available options.

How do the HAY sofa families differ?

Mags offers modular configurations, Quilton has a deep quilted seat, and Arbour combines upholstered cushions with a visible wooden frame. Use the family links to compare the designs, then check the dimensions and upholstery options of the specific model you are considering.

Can I explore upholstery before choosing a sofa?

Yes. The HAY fabric guide lets you browse fabrics and colours, compare options and explore the supported sofa models. Availability and prices depend on the model and fabric you choose; check the product page before ordering.
