The HAY Arbour Club Armchair is the latest member of Andreas Engesvik and Daniel Rybakken’s Arbour family, the Arbour Club Armchair shares the same concept that design should follow construction, and is assembled from separate components that have been independently produced for optimal comfort, quality and efficiency.

Designer: Daniel Rybakken and Andreas Engesvik

Born in 1984 in Oslo, Daniel Rybakken studied design in Oslo and Gothenburg before founding his studio in 2008. His work has received major international recognition, including Red Dot, Bruno Mathsson and London Design Medal awards. Andreas Engesvik established his studio in 2009 after co-founding Norway Says. Trained in Bergen and Oslo, his work has won Red Dot, iF and Wallpaper* Design Awards.

Together, Rybakken and Engesvik designed the Arbour Sofa Collection for HAY.
